Since 2018, Iowa State Bank of Algona has supported local schools by contributing to apparel fundraisers when student‑athletes qualify for state competition. As part of this program, the bank places its logo on apparel sold during these fundraisers and, in return, donates a set amount per item back to the school.
To date, Iowa State Bank has donated $57,786 to Bishop Garrigan student‑athletes across multiple sports.
“The bank started this program in support of student‑athletes when the seniors on this team were in fifth grade! We’re very proud to celebrate the success of our students,” said Laurie Vitzthum, Chairman, CEO & President of Iowa State Bank.
